DIY Monogram Mug Stuffers for Christmas

Hello all! I'm sure many have seen this DIY mug idea on Pinterest. I wanted to make some friends really easy, yet cute gifts for Christmas.
Shopping List:
-White Plain Mugs (Target, Ikea, Walmart, etc.)
-Oil based Paint Sharpie markers (Michael's)
-Stencil Stickers (Target, Michael's or Jo-ann's)

1. Clean and wash your mugs! Wipe the area of your mug where you will draw with alcohol prep swabs (optional although recommended so paint stays on well).
2. Stick your sticker stencil on the mug and decorate away! Make sure to specifically use the oil-based paint sharpie markers. Regular sharpies will wash off quick in the dishwasher. DO NOT USE REGULAR SHARPIES!
3. Bake your mugs in the oven at 350 degrees. This will set the paint.
4. After your mug has cooled down, stuff your cups with some "mug" stuffers. I put some chocolates and lipstick. Other ideas: tea, candy, nail polish, jewelry, gift cards, etc.

I also stenciled my friend's names on the back which is also really easy to do. Hope this helps and inspires you to make these!

Fevrie.com Hard Meets Soft Bomber Jacket

I definitely know what one of my New Year's resolutions will be, which will be to blog more often!
I'm excited to share with you my first collaboration with Fevrie! Check their website www.fevrie.com for cute clothes!

I picked the Hard Meets Soft Bomber Jacket in Beige (size small) since bomber jackets are trending this fall. They also have it in Black. I had a difficult time choosing between the two colors because I think both colors are gorgeous! I almost got black because black goes with everything. However, I own too many black jackets so I decided to go for the beige color. The beige is more elegant and I think has the 'soft' look. The black has an edgier feel. If you love floral, this jacket is for you! It is very comfy and a great lightweight jacket. It's perfect for California weather and I think it would be great for those who live in Southern California. It's getting cooler in Northern California, so it might be a little cold with just this on. I decided to style the jacket with boyfriend jeans for a more comfy and relaxed look. I also think this jacket would be great with black pants, which I will style it sometime in the future :D

e.l.f. Disney's Good v. Evil Beauty Book 2014 Swatches & Mini Review

(left to right: sorcery, magic spell, evil fairy, hedge of thorns, green flames, black magic)

(left to right: woodland, forest beauty, sunbeam, sunlight) Innocence & Briar rose...couldn't show up.

Boooooo. Quite disappointed with this pigmentation!! I got the e.l.f. Disney Let the Drama Begin Beauty Book for $9.99 and I must say not impressive. Usually, the e.l.f. Disney Beauty Books are great! Last year I bought three of the beauty books and the pigmentation was nice with the eyeshadows. I had to rub my finger in to get pigmentation for this. Two of the eyeshadows from the day beauty section wouldn't even show up. Its always the packaging that gets me to buy this stuff. So bad :( The swatches of the lip glosses don't look too bad. I will keep testing it out and hopefully make it work!!
