Merlot Floral Trail

Socks can make a big difference in picking out an outfit. Every morning the most common thought that runs through my mind is, "What am I going to wear!? I have nothing to wear." Which in fact is a big fat lie because I have enough clothes. Socks are a great way to jazz up your basics. I styled these merlot floral trail socks with a white crop top and white shorts. The color scheme is very fall and autumn like, but I think merlot is a great color to wear all season round. These are very comfy and good for the Northern California weather because it can get quite breezy at night. The floral trail detail adds a unique touch to the look and I think it looks one of a kind.

Vintage Browns x Modern Disco

Whenever I go thrifting, I always go to the vintage section first. There's always crazy prints and patterns with variety of colors. I like to jazz my basic attire with a thrifted blouse because it makes the outfit a little more unique. Whenever my boyfriend sees these prints at the thrift store, he cringes because it looks like what a grandma would wear. I paired the old lady print with my shiny disco pants from American Apparel.

DIY Monogram Mug Stuffers for Christmas

Hello all! I'm sure many have seen this DIY mug idea on Pinterest. I wanted to make some friends really easy, yet cute gifts for Christmas.
Shopping List:
-White Plain Mugs (Target, Ikea, Walmart, etc.)
-Oil based Paint Sharpie markers (Michael's)
-Stencil Stickers (Target, Michael's or Jo-ann's)

1. Clean and wash your mugs! Wipe the area of your mug where you will draw with alcohol prep swabs (optional although recommended so paint stays on well).
2. Stick your sticker stencil on the mug and decorate away! Make sure to specifically use the oil-based paint sharpie markers. Regular sharpies will wash off quick in the dishwasher. DO NOT USE REGULAR SHARPIES!
3. Bake your mugs in the oven at 350 degrees. This will set the paint.
4. After your mug has cooled down, stuff your cups with some "mug" stuffers. I put some chocolates and lipstick. Other ideas: tea, candy, nail polish, jewelry, gift cards, etc.

I also stenciled my friend's names on the back which is also really easy to do. Hope this helps and inspires you to make these!
